Files in the Application Settings directory with numerical values as file names contain user identification and verification data.
One such file is created for each connection to a Cryptshare server. The filename is a hash value from the server’s URL and can therefore vary.

This file persistently stores the add-in’s configuration data locally.
The function, content, and structure of the file is explained in detail in the Configuration section.
- CS4OutlookError.txt
-
This file is a log file for errors. It is created automatically when an error occurs.
- CS4OutlookLog.txt
-
This file contains detailed information (trace information) about all the steps of the Cryptshare for Outlook (Classic) add-in that can be helpful for support. This makes it easier to understand the behavior of the add-in in the event of error conditions.
Trace mode can be enabled or disabled in the add-in’s settings.
Only data from the last 48 hours is kept in the file. Older content is automatically deleted. - CS4OutlookTransferHistory.xml
-
This file contains the history of uploads and downloads of the Transfer Manager.
The file should not be modified manually, as this will falsify the transfer history.
- CS4OutlookDefaultUserConfig.xml
-
The CS4OutlookDefaultUserConfig.xml file contains both user-specific information and global information.
The content and structure of the file is explained in the Configuration section.
- enc.store
