Export diagnostic file and enable debug logs
Exporting a Diagnostic file includes logs and the Pointsharp ID configuration file.
When troubleshooting errors, this is a great help for the support staff and often requested by the support agent.
Enable debug logs
The debug logs are the best way to find the root cause of an error. When requesting support the debug logs are often requested by the support agent.

Log in to the Pointsharp ID server as an administrator.

Open Pointsharp ID Admin GUI.

Click the Tools menu.

Select System settings.

Check the Enable debug logging-checkbox.

Click OK.

Go to the General tab and Restart.
Debug logging is now enabled. The debug logs are located in:
<InstallDir>\Pointsharp ID\logs
They can also be accessed by pressing CTRL+L in Pointsharp ID Admin GUI.
Export diagnostic file

Log in to the Pointsharp ID server as an administrator.

Open Pointsharp ID Admin GUI.

Click the Tools menu.

Select Export Diagnostic File.

Log History(Days): Enter the timespan of the logfiles to include. A value of 7 (Days) will include all files created/modified since 7 days back in history.

All Files: Include all log files in the diagnostic file.

Click OK.

Choose where to place the Diagnostic file.
