Compliance Suite Release #9

  • Support for Dynamics 365 version 9.0

This version is compatible with Dynamics 365 8.2 and 9.0

  • Time-controlled Person Status

Person status can now be changed automatically based on Deactivation Date / Leave Return Date on the person card. An offset can be specified in number of days (for example, 0, 30, 90 or 180 days). Person Status can now reset private fields for a person (setting).

  • One-way synchronization of master data on persons

In previous releases, Compliance Suite supported two-way synchronization of master data, for example that a person’s location could be corrected both in Compliance Suite and in ADDS, as well as in a possible HR system. This has led to many support requests in case of conflicts or fixes in multiple systems simultaneously. Compliance Suite will therefore change from this release to synchronize master data one-way. Therefore, a priority is introduced on systems that determine which system has the highest priority and thereby precedent.

Example of setting up priority of master data for Individuals:

    HR system (priority 1500)

Compliance Suite (priority 1000, fixed value)

    ADDS (priority 500)

Highest priority wins (same principle as in Microsoft Project). This will mean, for example, that the master data that the HR system owns will always be decisive on the personal card. As well as that all manual changes implemented in ADDS on a user will be written back with the corresponding value from the HR system or Compliance Suite.

As a consequence of the above, the conflict field is now indicative, and does not stop a synchronization for a person.

  • General rules for prioritizing master data:

    • Only changes to the highest priority system are imported and only if the priority is higher than CCS (1000)

    • All systems with lower priority than CCS are updated with all changes implemented in CCS or the highest priority system

    • Fields synchronized from a higher system than CCS can only be corrected in this system and not on the personal card

The change does not affect group memberships / roles, only synchronization of master data.

You can read more about these features and how they are used in Compliance Suite in the user and administration guide.
