Dataverse - Dataverse Resources

Dataverse Resources are resources that can be assigned to Dataverse users.

Dataverse resources of type Connect Related Entity Single or Connect Related Entity Multi need to be imported to CCS before they can be assigned. The reason is that these resources cannot be assigned if they do not exist in the Dataverse environment.

When a resource is deleted in the Dataverse environment, it is disabled in CCS, all roles are removed from it and all memberships are deleted.

For Dataverse Resources of type Connect Related Entity Single or Field Value, the field Priority is shown. This is because a Dataverse user can only have one of these resource assigned.

How to assign Dataverse resources to a CCS Person:

Note: Dataverse Resources are given by Roles.

Before a resource can be assigned to a Dataverse user, a CCS person needs to have an access to this role and a Dataverse user system identity assigned.

If the person has accesses to multiple Dataverse resources and the Dataverse resource type is Connect Related Entity Single or Field Value, the resource with the highest priority is assigned.
