Deactivating, activating, deleting, and publishing entities

This table describes what happens in case of deactivation, activation, deletion, and publication across entities in Compliance Suite.

Role	Memberships are preserved.
Rule				Membership of rule is recalculated. New users get roles. Removed users lose roles - even those that are not removed from the rule. All users with membership get their roles recalculated (get added/removed roles.) Auto-role definition	All roles are disabled. Memberships are retained but not updated. No new roles are created or roles are removed.	All roles are activated.	Memberships are retained but not updated. No new roles are created or roles are removed.
Auto-group definition	Roles on the groups are preserved and retain the associated car roles. There is no attachment or removal of car roles. No new groups are formed or groups are removed.	No change.
