Retrieve files

The recipient will receive a notification email.

  1. In the email, click the Cryptshare icon:

  2. To retrieve the files, enter the password provided by the sender.

    If the sender did not set a password, move on with the next step. The Transfer password is only visible if a password has been set.

  3. Click the link Retrieve transfer.

  4. The Confidential Message and files are now available for download.

  5. Click Select all to download all files, or save each file individually by clicking the name of the file.

  6. Click Download files.

Retention period

The retention period for how long the server keeps the files available for download, is seen in the Transfer summary > Expiration date.

After the retention period, the files are deleted from the server independent if the recipient has downloaded the files or not.
