Location

Allow authentication based on client location.

Parameter Description

Add

Click to add a new rule.

Edit

Click to edit existing rule.

Remove

Click to remove selected rules.

Name

Name of rules.

Information

Displays the regions in rule.

Location Files

Import, Explore and Add/Edit Location files.

Settings

Change settings for location rules and test location files.

Add a new location rule

  1. Click Add to add a new location rule.

  2. Give the rule a name.

  3. Click Add to select one or more locations.

  4. Set Allowed distance, i.e. the allowed max distance (km) of nearest point of interest.

You may enter the distance (km) here, without the risk of overwriting the distance for the same location included in another rule.
  1. Click OK to add the new rule to the list of location rules.

Edit location distance

  1. Select one or more location rules to edit.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Select one of the locations in the list country/region. It is only possible to edit them one at a time.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Enter Allowed distance (km) from the location.

You may enter the distance (km) here, without the risk of overwriting the distance for the same location included in another rule.
  1. Click OK to apply the changes.

Location files

Imported location files:

Parameter Description

Import

Click to import location files.

Explore

Opens the file directory containing the imported location files.

Add

Add location file with custom locations.

Edit

Edit existing location file.

File

Physical file name.

Region / Country

This file contain location data for named region/country.

Settings

  • No Lat/Long in log: Click to disable all latitude/longitude information in log files.

  • No region names in log: Click to disable all country/region information in log files.

Test location data

Parameter Description

Latitude

Enter location latitude.

Longitude

Enter location longitude.

Location Rule

Select All Files to test all imported files, or: Select one of the Location rules to test.

Test button

Perform test.
