Web applications — Admin portal and User portal
Pointsharp ID includes Web applications for different purposes. These applications are served by an IIS. The Web based Admin portal and User portal are installed by the same installer as Pointsharp ID.
Pointsharp Web Services
Pointsharp Web Services is a web service interface used to serve Pointsharp ID functions. Custom web applications can also take advantage of the functionality of Pointsharp Web Services. Description for developers regarding the web service API is provided in the product zip, and on Web API help page.
IIS configuration and URLs
Pointsharp Web applications are installed on Microsoft IIS webserver. This means that if you like to have authentication, authorization or enable SSL, all configuration is done with IIS Management tools provided by Microsoft.
