Multiple Entra ID tenants

Compliance Suite now supports the assignment of multiple Entra ID tenants.

For this, the following adjustments have been made:

  • In the UI and the guides, Azure AD was replaced by Entra ID.

  • The field mapping between Entra ID and CCS has been adjusted for cloud app Custom Resources and supports only this.

  • New field for Entra ID User Systems
    On tab Configuration, the field Import Match Field is now available.
    Here, you can define which Entra ID field values of a user need to be identical to the field values of a person in CCS in order to be matched to each other.
    The following values are available with this field:

    • Initials
      If the initials of a person in CCS is identical to the initials of a newly created user in Entra ID, then the created Entra ID user is matched to the CCS person.

    • Primary E-mail
      If the primary email of a person in CCS is identical to the primary email of a newly created user in Entra ID, then the created Entra ID user is matched to the CCS person.

    • EmployeeId
      If the employee ID of a person in CCS is identical to the employee ID of a newly created user in Entra ID, then the created Entra ID user is matched to the CCS person.

    • None
      Creates a new person in CCS.

You can only set this field when creating a user system. Once the user system is created, the field is locked.#
The field Import Match Field cannot be set to synchronize on-premises users.#

New field: Secondary Manager

To reflect organizational structures better, you can now add the information on a secondary manager to a person.

For this, the following adjustments have been made:

  • New field in Person Type
    On the tab Person Form of a person type, you can now define the field Secondary Manager. Here, you can also define default values for this field.

  • Data exchange on Secondary Manager with connected systems
    The field can be mapped to AD DS and FrontDesk fields.

Compliance Suite documentation

In order to provide you with target group oriented information in the guides, we have divided the information into administrators and end users. Thus, we offer now an Administration Guide and a User Guide.

  • Administration Guide
    With this release we introduce our Administration Guide which covers all information that is relevant to administrator users only.
    For this, we have extracted the administrator information from the User Guide and added it to the Administration Guide. That means that certain modules like Organization or GDPR are now covered completely in the Administration Guide.

  • User Guide
    In the User Guide you now find only information relevant to end users.

We implemented several measures to improve the security of Compliance Suite.
