Group Policy snap-in

The Group Policy Management Console is the tool used to create and manage Group Policy Objects containing Net iD configurations. The Net iD Group Policy Object Editor extends the Computer Configuration namespace as shown below.

The Client and Enterprise node is used to configure and manage different categories of Net iD Client and Net iD Enterprise settings.

In the left pane there are nodes, or Categories, below the Client and Enterprise settings node.

A category with a cog wheel indicates that one or more settings are configured in the category.

A category with an arrow to the left indicates that the category contains sub-categories.

When expanded, the sub-categories are shown.

The right pane, or view pane, shows the values of the selected category. It can be one of the following types:

Static view
Dynamic view
Files view
