System requirements
In order to use Cryptshare for Outlook, the following requirements should be present:

a compatible browser/client,

a CSOW-licensed Cryptshare Server, which is included in all of our current plans, and

a cloud hosted Exchange Server, or an active Microsoft 365 subscription including Outlook on the web.
| On-premise deployment is not supported. Due to technical limitations regarding Outlook on the web, we do not support using Cryptshare for Outlook with on-premise installations of Exchange. For Cryptshare integration with on-premise installations, please refer to Cryptshare for Outlook (classic). |
Cryptshare Server
Cryptshare for Outlook is a web-based add-in, provided in the form of static resources. The Cryptshare Server takes the role of hosting these static resources to Outlook on the web. To ensure that the add-in will work correctly with your installed Cryptshare Server, please refer to the Compatibility table.
Outlook on the web — Exchange online
Outlook on the web is a component of active Microsoft 365 — Exchange online subscriptions, allowing access to associated mails and calendars through a web browser.
