Install on Windows

Installation

  • UI

  • Terminal

To start the installation, double-click the netidsetup.exe file.

This procedure requires elevation.

  1. To install Net iD Client from the terminal, begin by switching to the directory of your netidsetup.exe file.

  2. Run the .exe file with the following options:

    $ netidsetup.exe -install -silent

What is installed?

Files

The number of available binaries is reduced. There are, however, still a lot of internal components.

Temporary Files

The Client uses a standard temporary data folder to store temporary files. Instead of creating multiple files, they will be stored in a single file, except the card cache that will use a separate file.
