Installation Net iD Portal

This section describes the installation procedure for Net iD Portal.

Installation setup

You cannot downgrade the database. Always make a backup before you upgrade.

  1. Run the NiP Installer and follow wizard complete your installation.

  2. Use bootstrap one-time password for first login to Net iD Portal and enroll your first Administrator token.

Bootstrap configuration and setup

  1. Navigate to the site and login with the bootstrap OTP provided by the NiP Installer.

  2. Search for and register the first user who will act as the first administrator in the system.

  3. Assign the Administrator group to the first user.

  4. Enroll token to first user.

    • Token registration is required before you enroll token, depending on which token is used.

  5. Log out bootstrap user from the Net iD Portal.

  6. Log in with first admin user token.

  7. To apply initial setup and remove bootstrap configuration, go to Administration  Manage  Apply initial setup.
