netid.exe -language – manage text strings used in the UI

Synopsis

netid.exe -language compare <path>
netid.exe -language convert -type <type> -source <source> -destination <destination>
netid.exe -language convert -type <type> -path <path>

Description

The language command can for example export and convert the text strings used in the UI.

Compare

Compares the language configuration for missing strings. The command exports the strings of available languages to the file specified by <path>. Untranslated strings are shown by the string ###.

Options

compare <path>: Export all text strings to the file specified by <path>.

Example

Example 1. Export text strings

Use the compare option to export the text strings of the current language configuration. Untranslated strings are shown by the text string ###.

$ netid.exe -language compare C:\Temp\language.txt

Convert

Convert all language files in path. The .cfg and .json file formats are supproted.

Options

-type <type>: Destination file format. The .cfg and .json file formats are supproted.
-source <source>: Directory of source.
-destination <destination>: Directory of destination
-path <path>: Source and destination directory (same for both).
