WLD component
The Workstation Lock Down (WLD) is a customizable shell for Windows. It is implemented as a website run with the Net iD Web browser. The graphical interface is designed using HTML and CSS. Background functionality is done with JavaScript calls to the Net iD Plugin. All customization is done in the Windows registry.
The following features are always included in the WLD:
- Watch starter

WLD always starts Net iD watch when the computer starts. If watch is not configured this will not change client functionality.
- Net iD logo

The image at the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Customizeable sidebar

The option to have a sidebar with buttons which open selected programs or websites. These buttons can be shown always or only when the user is logged in with their card.
